Job summary

Lifepoint Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Administrative Assistant to provide high-quality executive and administrative support to hospital leadership. You will assist the CEO with scheduling, correspondence, meeting preparation, and follow-up, and support the Medical Director, Committee Chairs, and Medical Staff with clerical tasks and special projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; college-level education preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred; prior experience handling confidential information required.
  • Excellent computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office and common office systems).
  • Strong written and verbal communication; accurate transcription and minute-taking.

Administrative Assistant Position Summary
Provides high-quality executive and administrative support to hospital leadership. Assists the CEO with assigned duties, supports the Medical Director, Committee Chairs, and Medical Staff with clerical tasks and special projects, maintains confidential credentialing files, and prepares accurate minutes and correspondence to ensure smooth office operations.

Essential Functions

  • Provide clerical support and complete special projects for the Medical Director, Committee Chairs, and Medical Staff.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
