Job summary

Adient plc in Plymouth, MI is seeking an experienced administrative professional to provide services to two leaders, coordinate travel, meetings, and maintain calendars with discretion.

You will prepare requisitions, POs, and SOWs, manage office tasks, develop presentations, and handle confidential information while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Five to ten years of administrative experience, preferably in a large, global enterprise.
  • University degree or 2‑year certificate preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to create professional presentations quickly.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Competence in operating all types of office equipment, including printers, copiers, phones, fax machines, and teleconferencing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative services to customer business units, supporting two leaders by arranging travel, expense reporting, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings and events, and recording meeting minutes.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, Statements of Work, and purchase orders, and handle other general office administration tasks.
  • Work with confidential and sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality while accurately managing calendars, international travel itineraries, phone calls, and sensitive documents.
  • Effectively coordinate events with all levels of the organization, demonstrating professionalism and high organizational skills.
  • Use office equipment (printers, copiers, phones, fax machines, teleconferencing equipment, etc.) and software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiently.
  • Develop professional presentations and other documents rapidly, working independently and with attention to detail.
  • Handle stressful deadlines, multitask, and communicate clearly with employees, leaders, and customers.
  • Maintain integrity, accountability, and high ethical standards.
