Job summary

Denver Commercial Property Services (DCPS) is seeking a dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our Operations team from 9:00am to 2:30pm in Colorado. The role involves administrative tasks, document management, and coordinating project information in a fast-paced office environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient with Microsoft Office, and capable of clear communication with clients and team members.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or administrative certification preferred but not required.
  • Previous administrative, office support, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Experience in construction, property management, or a related industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and document management.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications professionally.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Process, submit, and track 811 utility locate requests while maintaining organized documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and calendars.
  • Support project managers and operations staff with administrative tasks and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, customers, and internal departments.
  • Assist with permit documentation and project‑related paperwork.
  • Monitor office supply inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
  • Maintain confidential employee and company information.
  • Support special projects and perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Denver Commercial Property Services is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Part‑Time Administrative Assistant to support our Operations team from 9:00am to 2:30pm. This position plays an important role in ensuring efficient office operations by providing administrative support, maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating project‑related information, and assisting with day‑to‑day operational needs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient with Microsoft Office, enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, and demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Physical Requirements
  • Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Frequently use a computer, keyboard, telephone, copier, printer, and other standard office equipment.
  • Occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Read both printed and electronic documents accurately.
  • Effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors, and subcontractors in person, by phone, and electronically.
Work Environment
  • Primarily performed in a professional office environment.
  • Occasional visits to active construction or job sites may be required.
  • When visiting job sites, employees must comply with all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • May occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, uneven terrain, construction noise, and moving equipment during site visits.
Compensation
  • $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
