  • 3–5 years administrative support experience (executive-level preferred).
  • Healthcare or IT experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Visio preferred.
  • Typing speed 50–65 wpm with strong accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with discretion.

This role provides high‑level administrative support to senior leadership, requiring exceptional organization, advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant supports the Vice President of Nursing Administration (CNO). This highly visible role requires independent judgment, strong technical skills, and the ability to coordinate complex administrative functions across Powers Health.

Key responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings and travel, preparing reports and presentations, maintaining filing systems, supporting special projects, and serving as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
  • Executive Support — Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to senior leaders.
  • Project Coordination — Assist with special projects, events, and cross‑department initiatives.
  • Document Management — Create, update, and maintain manual and electronic filing systems.
  • Communication Support — Draft correspondence, prepare reports, and support presentations.
  • Scheduling & Logistics — Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, training sessions, and calendars.
  • Customer Service — Provide professional, courteous support to staff, physicians, and external partners.
  • Confidentiality — Handle sensitive information with discretion and compliance.
  • Technology Utilization — Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Epic to streamline daily operations.

  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Visio preferred.
    • Ability to operate office equipment (copiers, multi-line phones, fax machines).
    • Typing speed 50–65 wpm with strong accuracy and proofreading skills.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
