Job summary

Musicologie Austin is seeking a Saturday administrative assistant to greet students and families, answer phones, schedule lessons, and keep the studio organized on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Bee Cave / Lakeway.

This part-time role offers a friendly, student-focused environment in a brand-new studio opening in 2025, with room to learn and grow while supporting our General Manager and teachers; weekend availability is ideal for students and musicians.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in busy periods.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Musicologie is looking for a Saturday administrative assistant to join our team! We're a new music education studio that opened in November 2025, and we're building something special in the Austin/Lakeway community - a place where students from 6 months to adults discover the joy of making music.

Responsibilities:

• Greet students, families, and teachers as they arrive for lessons
• Answer phones and respond to scheduling questions
• Keep the studio clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Support our General Manager with administrative tasks and event preparation
• Help coordinate communication between families and teachers

• You're punctual, dependable, and take initiative when you see something that needs doing
• You stay calm when things get busy and have a knack for making people feel comfortable
• Customer service or hospitality experience is a plus
• Interest in music is great, but not required
