Job summary

Farm Rescue is seeking an Administrative and Data Specialist to support the team by entering and managing donor data, along with other administrative tasks as needed.

This part-time role (20–25 hours per week) blends office work with remote collaboration across multiple states and reports directly to the Executive Director, with an emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and commitment to Farm Rescue’s mission.

Qualifications

  • Experience with customer relationship databases (CRMs)
  • Experience with some bookkeeping, including QuickBooks use
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, VolunteerMatters, and Salesforce (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with volunteers and team members
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote and field-based team
  • Demonstrated commitment to Farm Rescue’s mission and values

Position Summary

The administrative and data specialist is a part-time position supporting the needs of the team through entering and managing data, along with other administrative tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Donor data entry and management
  • Support the fundraising team and donation process by entering donor data into the CRM and updating as donors have changes in their contact information or other related data;
Administrative Support
  • Assist with administrative duties such as processing expenses, bookkeeping, mailings, database updates, and data entry as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience with customer relationship databases (CRMs)

This role will work in a combination of office and remote settings. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members acrossmultiple states.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to handle or feel objects and tools. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time role of 20-25 hours per week.Reports directly to the Executive Director, with collaborative alignment to other office staff.

Travel

Limited local travel is expected for this position.

Pay range

$18-$23/hour
