State of Arkansas is seeking an Administrative Analyst to support the Division of Local Public Health – Scott County Local Public Health Unit. This role will provide advanced analytical, operational, and administrative support, assisting senior leadership with data-driven decisions and policy development.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus three years of administrative experience.

Supervisory experience preferred.

This position will serve as the Lead Clerk for the Local Public Health Unit.
The salary for this position is set at an entry level for grade PAS01P. The selected applicant may be eligible for up to two (2 %) percent increase for the permanent assignment of field operations management duties.

The Administrative Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the strategic operations of a department by providing advanced analytical, operational, and administrative support. This position requires the ability to manage complex tasks, evaluate processes, and implement improvements that enhance overall efficiency within the agency. The Administrative Analyst will collaborate with senior leadership, provide insight through data analysis, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the agency’s goals.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, plus three (3) years of experience in administrative roles.
Satisfaction of the minimum qualifications, including years of experience and service, does not entitle employees to automatic progression within the job series. Promotion to the next classification level is at the discretion of the department and the Office of Personnel Management, taking into consideration the employee’s demonstrated skills, competencies, performance, workload responsibilities, and organizational needs.
