The work involves providing administrative, technical, and supportservices to an academic or administrative unit and facilitating theadministrative procedures related to the programs and servicesoffered by the office.
Responsible for organizing and carrying out assigned officeactivities to include department events. Assigned administrativesupport tasks involve technical decisions regarding processing ofactions (i.e., budget, personnel, purchasing); research informationin the files and providing the results to the supervisor; and/or,maintenance of unit financial records and web page(s).
The incumbent in this position communicates with others throughoutthe College and external entities to obtain and provideinformation, arranges appointments and staff schedules andorganizes office routines; and speaks for supervisor on matters onwhich the supervisor’s views are known, or as otherwiseauthorized.
$23.05 - $28.81 hourly. Initial salaryplacement for new hires falls between the minimum and midpoint ofthe range and is based on relevant candidate experience andinternal equity. The maximum salary for this position is $34.57hourly.
