As the Team Lead for First-Year Experience and Orientation, you will play a key role in helping new students successfully transition to university life by coordinating engaging orientation programs, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting initiatives that foster student success. Working closely with students, campus partners, and Orientation Leaders, you will help create welcoming and informative experiences that set the foundation for academic and personal growth.

- Administrative Operations & Office Support: Provide administrative support for First-Year Experience and Orientation initiatives, including maintaining records, tracking program participation, preparing materials, managing office resources, responding to inquiries, and assisting with day-to-day office operations.
- Event & Program Logistics: Assist with the coordination and implementation of orientation programs, trainings, resource fairs, welcome events, and first-year experience initiatives. Support event preparation, setup, execution, and follow-up to ensure successful program delivery.
- Student Staff Support & Training: Assist in the training, development, and support of Orientation Leaders and other student staff. Facilitate portions of training sessions, provide mentorship and guidance, and help maintain a positive team culture.
- Program Development & Assessment Support: Support the Assistant Director in developing, improving, and assessing first-year experience programs. Assist with gathering feedback, compiling participation data, preparing reports, and implementing program enhancements.

An associate's degree and/or two years of related experience; OR any combination of education and experience totaling two years.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree.
- Four years of related experience.

- Spanish and multilingual proficiency.
- Experience in higher education or support services.
- Experience providing support, guidance, or services to students or clients in an educational or customer service setting.
- Understanding of campus resources and student support services.
Knowledge

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other university software systems.
- Knowledge of event planning and program coordination practices.
- Familiarity with orientation, onboarding, or student success programs preferred.
