Job summary

CorDx seeks an experienced Admin & HR Director to lead HR and administrative operations in a fast-paced life sciences setting. You will partner with leadership to align people strategies with business goals while fostering a compliant, performance-driven culture.

Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, policy development, payroll, HRIS, and safety compliance; managing budgets and vendor relations; guiding change, crisis response, and data-driven planning to support growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or HR; Master’s or SHRM preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR and administrative leadership experience.
  • 7+ years of people management, overseeing teams of 7+ direct reports.
  • Life Sciences industry experience, preferably IVD sector.
  • Strong expertise in employment law, OSHA, and HR best practices.

Position Overview

The Admin & HR Director will oversee Human Resources and Administrative operations, ensuring smooth daily management and a positive, compliant, and performance-focused work environment. This role acts as a trusted advisor to leadership and partner to employees, supporting business goals through effective people and operational management.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources & Administration

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and retention initiatives.

  • Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll, and HRIS systems.

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including vendor, facility, supplies, and administrative services.
  • Supervise administrative and HR teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; Master’s or SHRM certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR and administrative leadership experience.
  • 7+ years of people management experience, overseeing teams of at least 7 direct reports.
  • Industry experience in Life Sciences, ideally within the IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) sector.
  • Strong expertise in employment law, HR best practices, OSHA compliance, and office operations.
  • Proficient in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and office management platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and confidentiality.
