Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking an Order Processing Admin in a data-entry driven role within the Corporate Sales Division. You will manage incoming work, delegate to Sr Order Entry Associates, and help ensure accurate order processing and reporting for upper management.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; a detail-oriented, team-oriented individual with flexibility to work weekends or holidays is ideal.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ seasons experience as Sr. Order Entry Associate in Corporate Sales.
  • Detail oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal).
  • Knowledge of computer-based systems, Internet and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) required.

Responsibilities

  • Receive work for data entry and ensure accuracy.
  • Give clear instructions when delegating tasks to associates.
  • Utilize resources to receive work and mark orders as done.
  • Report issues to the Order Operations Manager.
  • Work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Attend and complete Admin Training.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Communicate professionally with other departments.
  • Multi-task and maintain attention to detail.

Job description

  • Minimum of 1 or more seasons experience at Harry & David as an Sr. Order Entry Associate in the Corporate Sales Division.
  • Detail oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) for effective interaction with all levels of company personnel.
  • Ability to participate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of computer based-systems, Internet, and Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) required.

PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK EFFORT

The expected hourly rate for this position is $15.25. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.

The Order Processing Admin is responsible for receiving work from various avenues within the company and delegating work to Sr Order Entry Associates. Other duties within the role include archiving the completed work as well as completing accurate reports for upper management. The Order Processing Admin will strive to obtain complete and accurate order information so orders can be processed and completed with little to no errors including archiving for reporting purposes.
