Under direct supervision, the Administrative Coordinator provides administrative assistance and performs related functions in conjunction with other GTS personnel to maintain daily activities. Ensures effective execution of daily administrative support functions and provides support services for business unit employees.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a team lead; organizes support staff functions and coordinates workflow.
- Checks, verifies, and analyzes staff work.
- Develops reports and performs system queries as requested.
- Evaluates workflow processes to ensure compliance with Business Unit best practices and modifies them for compliance and efficiency.
- Administers inventory control system for supplies.
- Manages filing, storage, and retention functions.
- Maintains equipment inventory and maintenance records; recommends acquisition or disposal of furniture and equipment from the fixed asset list.
- Organizes agendas and materials for staff meetings.
- Maintains fleet records and works with the fleet department as a liaison.
- Assists with system input and software/database management.
- Responds to customer/client requests, escalating when necessary.
- Supports creation of new claims assignments in appropriate systems.
- Supports Business Unit reporting requirements.
- Performs general administrative duties for daily operations.
- Serves as a liaison between operations and corporate departments for questions and problem-solving.
- Participates in special projects or performs other duties as requested.
- Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; combined education and experience.
- At least five years of experience supporting management administratively.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Intermediate skills in Word and Excel; basic PowerPoint skills.
- Filing skills (alphabetical and numerical).
- Proficiency with standard business machines and accurate typing skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate workflow of clerical staff.
- Must complete continuing education as outlined by Crawford Educational Services.
