Job summary

Music City Center in Nashville is seeking an Administrative Support professional to assist Operations, Sales, and Event Services. You will maintain metrics, prepare reports, manage correspondence, and support purchasing and financial recordkeeping.

The role also includes coordinating weekly schedules, arranging meetings, handling mail, and ensuring facilities and equipment are ready for use. A fast-paced team environment awaits with opportunities to contribute across departments.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of administrative, office support, or operations experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to prepare reports, maintain records, and manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry, recordkeeping, and document preparation.
  • H.S. Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, distribute, and maintain departmental correspondence, documents, and communications.
  • Assist with purchasing activities, including processing orders, tracking purchases, and verifying receipt of goods and services.
  • Support departmental financial operations by assisting with reports, recordkeeping, and administrative documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly team schedules in collaboration with department leadership.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, reserving meeting spaces, and ensuring required materials, supplies, and equipment are prepared and available.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail for assigned departments.
  • Submit and monitor facility maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Distribute departmental information, forms, and communications as directed.
  • Operate office equipment, including copiers and printers, and perform document copying, collating, and assembly.
  • Maintain organized records and files in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.
