Job summary

Paddock Chevrolet in Village of Kenmore, NY is seeking a part-time Loaner Car Agent to help customers get into borrowed vehicles while their cars are serviced. The role requires a friendly, service-oriented approach and the ability to manage a fleet of loaner vehicles.

Work hours are Tuesday through Friday 1pm–6pm and Saturdays 7am–5pm, with duties including document checks, loaner agreements, cash handling, and light clerical tasks. Prior loaner or dealership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimal customer-service experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with loaner cars or rental vehicles is a plus.
• Automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Manage a fleet of 40+ loaner vehicles, ensuring readiness and return checks.
• Input customer information to create loaner agreements and obtain signatures.
• Verify documents meet requirements to receive a borrowed vehicle.
• Track vehicles and availability to serve service customers.
• Assist Service Cashier with checkout and payments as needed.
• Perform clerical tasks to support other staff.

Paddock Chevrolet Best Places to work Finalist for the 2nd year. Paddock Chevrolet is hiring a part-time Loaner Car agent to assist customers into borrowed vehicles while they are in for service. We are looking for an energetic customer service oriented person able to work:

Tuesday thru Friday 1pm-6pm and Saturdays 7am-5pm

Job Duties of the Loaner Car Agent include:

• Managing a fleet of 40+ loaner vehicles, ensuring they are ready for use when loaned and thoroughly checked upon return
• Inputting customer information to create loaner agreement and obtaining the necessary signatures
• Confirming customer’s documents meet requirements to receive a borrowed vehicle from our dealership
• Tracking vehicles to know all cars are accounted for and when additional cars are available to service customers
• Covering the Service Cashier as needed, checking out customers and receiving payments
• Clerical tasks as necessary to support other employees/departments

Candidates for the Loaner Car Agent should have:

• Valid Driver’s License - must have
• Clean driving record - must have
• Good face-to-face customer service skills
• Loaner or Rental Car Experience
• Automotive Dealership Experience a plus
• Dealertrack and X-Time experience is a plus
• Have to be at least 18 years old
