Frederick Community College is seeking an Adjunct, Vocational to provide instruction to students entering or already in the vocational workforce. Courses may include lectures, hands-on labs, and distance-learning components to support outcomes from entry-level employment to professional development.
The instructor will prepare lesson plans, facilitate labs, track progress, and report grades, with emphasis on engaging students and fostering critical thinking and workplace skills.
This position provides instruction to students who are preparing to enter or are already a member of a vocational workforce (e.g., stationary engineers, commercial drivers, automotive mechanics, etc.). The instructor will use lecture, hands‑on labs, and distance‑learning technology depending on the course. Course outcomes range from entry‑level employment preparation to professional development.
