Adjunct, Adult Education ABE/GED
This position provides face‑to‑face, blended (HYR), and online (ONL) instruction in language arts, social studies, science, and/or math to adult learners age 18 and older who seek a high school diploma or want to strengthen basic skills prior to enrolling in post‑secondary education. Course offerings include Adult Basic Education, Non‑Credit Reading, Non‑Credit Math, Pre‑Diploma, GED Math, GED Prep for Science, GED Prep for Social Studies, and GED Prep for Language Arts. Most classes meet for two days per week at Frederick Community College for three hours each day. Off‑campus classes meet between 4 and 6 hours per week.
