Job summary

Midlands Technical College is seeking qualified nursing faculty to supervise students in clinical settings and manage related documentation. The role involves hands-on instruction, evaluation of student performance, and administrative tasks to support clinical education.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with at least two years of clinical experience, an active SC Nursing License, and current BLS certification. Master’s degree is preferred for advancement.

  • Active, unencumbered SC Nursing License and Current BLS Certification required.
  • Must meet all requirements for clinical participation per clinical facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct supervision of students in a variety of clinical settings, including hands-on and theory, clinical management, and related administrative tasks.
  • Assess student performance regularly, maintain attendance/grades/progress records; other duties as needed.

  • Provides direct supervision of students in a variety of clinical settings. Instruction includes hands on and theory, clinical management of students, and administrative tasks that may include reports, clinical documentation and student evaluations.
  • Assess the performance of students on a regular basis, maintain records of student attendance, grades and progress. Other duties assigned as needed.
This position is located on the Airport Campus in the School of Health Care.
Minimum And Additional Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least two (2) years recent clinical experience in specialty area required. Active, unencumbered SC Nursing License, Current BLS Certification and must meet all requirements for clinical participation per clinical facility.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree and clinical teaching experience preferred.
