Job summary

Ogeechee Technical College in Georgia is seeking an Adjunct Practical Nursing Instructor to provide lab and clinical instruction for the Practical Nursing program in the Statesboro area. The instructor will supervise students in clinical settings, including hospitals and physician offices, and will develop course goals, objectives and syllabi while ensuring safety and readiness.

The position requires an active RN license in good standing, at least three years of comprehensive nursing experience

Qualifications

  • Current registered nurse (RN) license by the Georgia State Board of Nursing and in good standing from the initial date of employment as a registered professional nurse.
  • Must have a minimum of three years of full-time paid work experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing, Obstetrical, Pediatric, office-based physician practice, hospital, nursing home, mental health facility, or public health agency.
  • Must have a minimum of three years of licensed nursing practice within the preceding 7 years or direct teaching experience in a postsecondary nursing or related program.
  • BLS for Healthcare providers (CPR & AED)

  • Instructor will provide lab and clinical instruction for the Practical Nursing program.   • Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.
