Berkshirejobs in Massachusetts seeks a practical nursing clinical adjunct instructor to teach and guide students in clinical settings. The role requires a current Massachusetts RN license and a BSN or higher, with knowledge of BoRN requirements.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 07:45 to 14:45, with some Saturdays or evenings possible, and flexibility in the number of days worked. Prior teaching experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of BoRN curriculum requirements.
• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Completion of BSN or higher degree.
• Minimum of two years experience of practice preferred.
• Current clinical experience in subacute/rehab or acute medical/surgical nursing and/or specialty area.
• Current AHA BLS certification at the health-care provider level.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Teach nursing courses as a clinical adjunct instructor.
• Ensure compliance with BoRN standards for nursing education.
• Supervise and evaluate student clinical performance.

Letters of application are being accepted for the position of practical nursing clinical adjunct instructor. Instructors are scheduled Monday through Friday 07:45 - 2:45PM daily. Schedule is flexible regarding number of days worked and an occasional Saturday or evening may be required. Previous teaching experience is not required. All instructors must meet the requirements of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing (BoRN) as outlined in 244 CMR 6.04(2)(b). This position requires a current Massachusetts RN license.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of the BoRN curriculum requirements.
• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Completion of BSN or higher degree.
• Minimum of two years experience of practice preferred.
• Current relevant clinical experience in subacute/rehab or acute medical/surgical nursing and/or specialty area (i.e. Mental Health, Obstetrics, etc.).
• Current AHA BLS certification at the health-care provider level
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
