Qualifications

• Fifth-year plumbing apprentice status required.
• Journeyman or Master Plumbing licensure preferred.
• Minimum of 6,000 hours in the field within the last five years.
• Experience in commercial, residential, and service plumbing work.

Responsibilities

• Learning Facilitation: develop instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs and promote engagement.
• Assessment: provide regular feedback and use data to improve outcomes.
• Curriculum Development: revise materials to be competency-based and aligned with employer expectations.
• Classroom Management: maintain attendance, records, and safe instructional environments.
• Team Participation: engage in division and department activities and planning.
• Business & Community Engagement: build relations with industry and partners.
• Student Success & Support: advise on schedules, internships, and career information.
• Professional Development: pursue ongoing training and maintain licensure.
