Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking an Adjunct/Part-Time Faculty member in Educational Leadership within the College of Education. The role supports undergraduate and graduate instruction with flexible hours and teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate instruction: Doctorate or master’s in the teaching discipline, or a master’s with 18 graduate hours.
  • Graduate instruction: Doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching or related discipline.
  • Competence, effectiveness, and capacity in teaching with related work experience, licensure/certifications, honors, and documented teaching excellence.

Pay Rate: Pay rate varies

Minimum Experience and Education
  • Undergraduate instruction: Doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.
  • Graduate instruction: Earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the highest earned degree.
  • Additional qualifications: Competence, effectiveness, and capacity in teaching, supported by undergraduate or graduate degrees, related work experience, professional licensure and certifications, honors and awards, and a documented track record of excellence in teaching and student learning outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities
