Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana seeks adjunct faculty to deliver credit and non-credit classes in health sciences. These positions are temporary and on an as-needed basis with flexible scheduling to align with client demand.
Candidates must be Indiana certified EMTs (or higher) and hold or be willing to obtain instructor credentials. Teaching experience and strong communication are required to effectively train healthcare providers and first responders.
Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the department.

Must be a current Instructor in one or more discipline above with at least 6 months' experience teaching classes. Must have effective communication skills, be able to problem solve, and have knowledge of equipment and software technology used in classroom. Must have a positive attitude and a passion for teaching lifesaving skills to current and future healthcare providers and first responders.
Must be able to pass School of Health Sciences screening requirements.
Must Be An Indiana Certified EMT, Licensed Paramedic, Nurse, Or Physician. Must Have Flexible Schedule To Teach Classes Daytime, Evening, And Weekends. In Addition, Must Have ONE Or More Of The Following
