Qualifications

• Terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution in the teaching discipline with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
• For undergraduate programs, a master’s degree with concentration in the teaching discipline and 18 graduate semester hours.
• Licensure or certification as applicable to the discipline and active status.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers instruction aligned with the South University model.
• Relates professional and industry experience to learning and updates courses.
• Promotes student success through flexible teaching and engagement.
• Manages the educational process and maintains accurate records.
• Participates in faculty development and campus committees and events.
• Communicates effectively with supervisors, faculty, and staff.
