Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay, MA seeks an adjunct instructor for Marine Transportation courses. Instruct college-level Marine Transportation courses. Preferred specializations include navigation, ship-handling and shipboard safety, seamanship, and watchstanding. Potential course taught may include Integrated Navigation, Advanced Shiphandling, Coastal Navigation and Electronic Navigation. Massachusetts Maritime Academy follows a "Learn-Do-Learn" model, where our hands‑on simulation labs and classroom experiences enable our students to "apply" textbook knowledge in the field.

Pay is based on the number of credits taught at a rate of $2,343.75/credit. The semester credit load is variable, typically between 3 and 11 credits, depending on departmental needs and candidate's expertise.
