Job summary

Benedictine University in Lisle, IL seeks an Adjunct Lecturer for the MS Health Informatics program in Nutrition & Public Health. Courses are taught online and onsite at Benedictine campuses in Lisle and Mesa, with travel to Lisle or Mesa for weekend sessions as needed.

Qualified candidates hold a graduate degree (terminal degree preferred) and experience with health databases, EHRs, and SAS, R, Python. Teaching online experience is preferred; positions are per-course, part-time, and non-benefit

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required with significant experience in a related area from an accredited institution.
• Terminal degree (PhD) preferred for the available classes listed.
• Experience with health-related databases, EHR systems, and health systems in a QI, research, or Public Health capacity is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach per-course and develop courses focusing on Public Health aspects of Health Informatics.
• Travel to Lisle or Mesa for one three-day weekend session for each course taught.
