Compensation is hourly, with $1400 per contact hour when a terminal degree is held and $1200 per contact hour otherwise; this rate may change based on class size and subject area. Training is required for all university employees.

Adjunct faculty teach undergraduate and graduate courses on our campuses in Lisle, IL, Mesa, AZ, and online in all areas: Business, Public Health, Nursing, Nutrition & Dietetics, Math, Computer Sciences, Biology, Sports & Exercise Science, Physics, Astronomy, Engineering, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Communications, Graphic Arts and Design, Fine Arts, Music, Education, , Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, History, Philosophy, Theology, English Language and Literature, and Spanish. We also employ adjunct faculty in our graduate linguistics program in Vietnam and our MBA and MPH programs in China.
