The Tennessee Board of Regents is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Surgical Technology/CSPT to deliver quality instruction across on-ground, online and hybrid formats. You will align with course leads, manage syllabi, and use the LMS to disseminate materials, while ensuring timely grading and reporting within university policies.
Qualifications include an Associate's degree and CST certification, plus clinical expertise.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in an equitable environment.
Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned, including classroom, laboratory and clinical instruction. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email account and department mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends. Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar. Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
Knowledge of and/or experience with a variety of instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse student, faculty and staff population. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
$650.00 - $740.00 per credit hour
