The Adjunct Instructor, Human Resources, is responsible for providing high-quality instruction on assigned courses on a part-time, temporary basis. This position supports student success through effective teaching, student engagement, assessment, and curriculum delivery in accordance with college and departmental standards.

Instruction and Student Success
- Deliver effective, engaging instruction using appropriate teaching methods and technologies.
- Prepare thoroughly for each class session and instructional hour.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
- Grade assignments, assessments, and examinations and provide timely feedback.
- Counsel and advise students regarding course performance, progress, and academic success
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
Course Development and Assessment
- Develop and maintain instructional materials that support course outcomes and College standards.
- Design course schedules, learning activities, and assessments aligned with approved curriculum.
- Utilize assessment data and best practices to improve teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
- Ensure course content remains current with industry standards.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to maintain program quality and instructional consistency.
Professional Responsibilities
- Remain current in instructional technologies, online teaching methodologies, and emerging trends in higher education.
- Utilize instructional technology and learning management systems to support student learning.
- Participate in professional development activities and training opportunities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of departmental and College goals.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule - Adjunct faculty are assigned courses based on departmental needs, qualifications, enrollment, and scheduling requirements. Courses may be offered during daytime, evening, weekend, online, or hybrid formats.
Minimum Requirements:
Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources OR Master of Science in Human Resources Management

Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year or more of teaching, experience in Human Resources
- Experience teaching face-to-face, online, and hybrid learning environments.
- Experience in using Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Blackboard Ultra and/or Canvas.
- SHRM-CP (Certified Professional) AND/OR SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) a PLUS
- Experience teaching Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) courses for workforce development
