Adjunct Instructor for Management

Summary of Position

Teach undergraduate management courses in an in-person format.

Responsibilities

• Deliver management courses in multiple delivery methods including face-to-face, online, and hybrid/mixed formats.
• Maintain regular posted office hours scheduled at times convenient for students.
• Participate in traditional academic functions such as reporting initial student participation data and submitting final grades on time.
• Teach off-campus or in an online environment as required.
• Complete any other duties assigned within the position classification.

Qualifications

Required Education: MBA or a master's in a related field from an accredited university.

Required Work Experience: Five years of substantial management work experience with excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills.

Additional Education/Experiences: Ph.D. and teaching experience in undergraduate management courses and upper level executive management work experiences.

Eligibility and Application

This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Position Type: Faculty - Temporary & Continuing.

Key Competencies

Candidates must demonstrate teaching excellence, student orientation, and the ability to integrate current technology into the learning environment. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience teaching or coaching in the management industry is preferred. Current management practitioners are preferred.

Salary

Salary Range: $1,000 - $1,350 per credit.
