Adjunct Instructor for Accounting.

Summary of Position

Teach undergraduate and graduate Accounting courses at the Brooklyn campus primarily in our daytime program. Multiple delivery methods may include face‑to‑face, online, and a hybrid/mixed delivery format.

Qualifications

• Required Education: MBA or a masters in a related field from an accredited university; CPA preferred.
• Required Work Experience: Five years of substantial Accounting work experience.
• Preferred Experience: Previous teaching or coaching in the Accounting industry, current Accounting practitioners, MBA and teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate Accounting courses, and upper‑level executive Accounting work experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to integrate technology into learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate Accounting courses in multiple delivery methods.
• Maintain regular posted office hours at times convenient for students (one office hour per week per course).
• Participate in academic functions such as reporting student participation data and submitting final grades on time.
• May be required to teach off‑campus or online.
• Perform additional duties assigned within the position classification.
• Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all interactions.

Salary

$1,000–$1,350 per credit.

Additional Information

This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester‑by‑semester basis.
