The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or higher in a related field, at least one year of industry experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Building Technology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of one year of industry experience in construction, architectural practice, or a related field.
• Knowledge of construction methods, blueprint reading, and/or building science principles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
• Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or National background check as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach CBS101 and CBS103 as assigned.
• Prepare and deliver engaging classroom instruction aligned with course outcomes.
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and course records.
• Support student success through clear communication and professional conduct.
• Incorporate industry standards, sustainable practices, and blueprint interpretation into instruction.
• Use instructional technology and design software, including AutoCAD and Revit, when appropriate.
