Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) in Klamath Falls is seeking adjunct instructors to begin Spring term, April 2026, teaching accelerated four-week courses at an off-site Kingsley Field location serving military students.
Possible courses include Essentials of Grammar and Punctuation; Interpersonal Communication; Intro to Communication; Intro to Leadership; and Organizational Communication I and II.
This pool will be accessed per the need[s] of the Department. Your credentials will remain active as long as the pool position is available but no more than two years. After two years, if you are still interested, you must reapply to the most current adjunct pool.

The Communication Department at Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) offers students two exciting majors— Communication Studies and Professional Writing; two minors—Human Interaction and Professional Writing & Technical Communication; and certificates in Dispute Resolution, Health Communication, Technical and Medical Writing, Proposal and Grant Writing, UX Writing, and UX Research and Design.
The Communication Department at Oregon Tech has recently instituted a focus within the Communication Studies major in Leadership. This focus is designed as a degree completion sequence for students who hold a Community College of the Air Force ( CCAF ) associate’s degree. This Focus on Leadership will serve active duty members of the military and will be delivered at Kingsley Field Air Force base close to our campus in Klamath Falls. These courses will be taught in a four-week format for ten months of the year.
