Job summary

Prairie View A&M University seeks an Adjunct Instructor (Chemistry) to teach laboratory and lecture components for Fall 2026. The role is a part-time, non-tenure track position within the Department of Chemistry.

The salary is determined in accordance with the University's compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates' education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.

This part-time non-tenure track position will teach laboratory courses in Chemistry for the Fall 2026 semester.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for teaching college level courses in chemistry.

Required Education & Experience
  • Masters in Chemistry.
  • 1-2 years of teaching experience in applied field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use technology to teach undergraduate courses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Chemistry.
  • 3 years experience in teaching college level courses in Chemistry.
