Job summary

Prairie View A&M University is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor (Chemistry) to teach laboratory chemistry courses for Fall 2026. The position is non-tenure track and pays commensurate with education and experience.

Job Description

The salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position. This part-time non-tenure track position will teach laboratory courses in Chemistry for the Fall 2026 semester.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for teaching college level courses in chemistry.
  • Keep records, post grades (mid-term & final), submit attendance.

Required Education & Experience
  • Masters in Chemistry.
  • 1-2 years of teaching experience in applied field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use technology to teach undergraduate courses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Chemistry.
  • 3 years experience in teaching college level courses in Chemistry.
