Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Teach General Chemistry lab and/or lecture sections; teach Organic Chemistry lab and/or lecture sections.
  • Collaborate with Chemistry and Biology faculty in the department.
  • Teach courses in alignment with the university's mission and learning objectives.
  • Develop and implement instructional strategies to promote student engagement.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student performance records.
  • Utilize Canvas for course management and administration.
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to university policies.
  • Communicate respectfully with colleagues, students, and the public in a team-oriented spirit.
  • Be a Christian role model to students through actions and lifestyle.
  • Demonstrate cross-cultural engagement with respect and humility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Teaching laboratory and/or lecture sections of General Chemistry.
  • Teaching laboratory and/or lecture sections of Organic Chemistry.
  • Collaborate with Chemistry and Biology faculty members within the department.
