George Fox University – Adjunct Interior Design Instructor

George Fox University's Art & Design Program announces an adjunct position specializing in Interior Design. The Adjunct Interior Design Instructor is responsible for delivering high‑quality instruction in interior design courses, fostering a creative and collaborative learning environment. This role involves teaching undergraduate courses, assessing student work, and supporting the mission of the Interior Design program.

Job Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with employees, students, and the public, demonstrating teamwork, respect, and customer service.

  • Demonstrate experience working cross‑culturally with respect, appreciation, and humility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
We Are Looking for Candidates Who Have
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of professional experience in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in industry‑standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Escape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States. This position does not offer visa sponsorship; therefore only applicants who do not require sponsorship should apply.

  • NCIDQ, LEED, or other professional accreditations related to Interior Design.
  • Previous teaching experience.

  • Compensation: Adjunct faculty are paid on a per credit hour basis, commensurate with education and experience.
