Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, WY seeks a part-time Adjunct Instructor for the CDL Program to deliver non-credit instruction, support students, perform safety checks, and assist with program operations under the CDL Program Manager.
Responsibilities include using standard curriculum, conducting pre-trip inspections, maintaining vehicles, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and FMCSA, with emphasis on accurate record-keeping and teamwork.
The Adjunct Instructor, CDL Program position is part-time, non-benefited position responsible for program instruction, student support, safety, equipment inspection, and supporting the overall program operations. Under the general direction of the Outreach and Workforce Development CDL Program Manager, the Instructor performs duties related to delivering the LCCC Non-Credit instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their potential.
This position uses the standard curriculum and approved methodology to ensure student progress in both written coursework and practical driving skills, while providing relearning opportunities through approved strategies as needed. This position requires a strong background and understanding of the curriculum as well as superior training skills. Also, calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work closely and without conflict with both internal and external customers.
Compensation: $33.39/hr.

This position is non-exempt and is eligible for compensatory or overtime pay provisions of the FLSA. This listing of essential duties is not all-inclusive, but representative, other duties may be assigned).
