The University of Alabama Libraries seeks an Adjunct Spring 2027 Information and Digital Instruction Librarian to teach information literacy and digital literacy sessions online and in person at the main campus and extension sites. Qualifications

• Master's degree from an American Library Association ( ALA ) accredited program.
• Experience teaching information literacy and reference services.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience with learning management systems.
• Experience with audio and video production.

Responsibilities

• Teach information literacy and digital literacy sessions online and in-person at the main campus and extension sites.
• Create instructional materials and digital learning objects.
• Support media production (video/audio).
• Travel to extension sites as needed.
