The UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor for its College of Information Science to teach courses in Library & Information Science, Data Science, and Creative Computing across Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Adjunct Instructor, Library and Information Science/Data Science/Creative Computing

This part‑time adjunct instructor position at the University of Arizona’s College of Information Science involves teaching courses in Library & Information Science, Data Science, and Creative Computing for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters, contingent upon funding. Teaching may be delivered in-person, online, or hybrid. Candidates may be considered for a remote assignment anywhere in the U.S. Overtime and hourly rates are subject to state law.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Instruction in the assigned subject area.
• Planning course delivery, aligning content with the curriculum, and providing feedback on student work.
• Advising students, holding office hours, and supporting student learning.
• Assisting with capstone projects or individual student projects through project‑based pedagogy when appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate Instruction

• Master’s degree in a related field.

Graduate Instruction

• Ph.D. in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional expertise in the field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Information Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Library Science, Media Ecology, Game Media, Gaming Behavior, Game Design & Production, or other related field.
• Content expertise that aligns with enrollment needs.
