Job summary

Lasell University is seeking adjunct instructors for WRT 101- College Writing I and WRT102- College Writing II for the Fall 2026 semester. Courses cover genre, rhetoric, research, and argument.

Assignments include WRT 101 MW 9:30-10:45, WRT 101 Workshop MW 11:00-12:40, WRT 101 Workshop MW 1:00-2:40, and WRT 102 MWF 1:00-1:50 pm. A Master's degree is required and experience teaching college-level writing is expected.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in composition and rhetoric or a relevant field and experience teaching college-level writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for all sessions of assigned courses utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning.
• Align course assignments with departmental learning outcomes and university core curriculum learning outcomes; provide student work samples for assessment purposes.
• Incorporate Canvas (learning management system) into the course.
• Maintain office hours each week.
• Keep accurate records of student progress and complete early warning, mid-semester, and final grade reports.
