We are seeking 2 part-time (adjuncts) to teach college-level courses at Davenport High Schools, in-person Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, Jan 19. 2027 - May 14, 2027.
This role is responsible for teaching speech courses and assessing learning outcomes. Must be professional and demonstrate excellence in teaching and service. Must demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the community college.
$800 per course hour, $1000 per course hour for EICC retirees

Master's degree in Speech or Communications or master's degree with at least 12 GSH in a combination of the qualifying fields that provide a foundation in the specific subject matter being taught Drama/Theater, English, Homiletics, Linguistics, Mass Media, Speech Pathology, and/or Rhetoric is required (a minimum of 6 credits must be from Speech or Communications.)
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
