Eastern Iowa Community Colleges seeks an instructor to teach Criminal Justice, assess learning outcomes, and participate in curriculum development across multiple campus locations including Scott, Clinton, and Muscatine campuses.
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Criminal Justice or JD, or a master’s with at least 12 credits in related fields (6 in Criminal Justice). Teaching experience preferred; salary is per credit hour.
Responsible for teaching courses and assessing learning outcomes in the area of Criminal Justice. Assignments may include alternative delivery methods, evening courses, and multiple sites. Must demonstrate excellence in teaching and service, must demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the community college.
Location: Any EICC campus locations including Scott Community College, Clinton Community College, EICC Urban Campus and Muscatine Community college.

The minimum requirement is a Masters in Criminal Justice, a JD, or a master’s degree with at least 12 credits in a combination of the qualifying fields that provide a foundation in the specific subject matter being taught (a minimum of 6 credits must be from Criminal Justice).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : The teacher must see and hear on a continuous basis as well as speak frequently. Positions may vary from standing, sitting, or walking.
Salary $700.00 per credit hour; EICC retirees $1000 per credit hour.
