Eastern Iowa Community Colleges is seeking a 167-day in-person faculty member to teach accounting courses at Scott Community College and Clinton Community College. The position requires a Master’s in Accounting or a related field with accounting emphasis, and a commitment to student success and service. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsible for teaching courses and assessing learning outcomes in assigned discipline. Assignments may include alternative delivery methods, evening courses, and multiple sites. Must demonstrate excellence in teaching and service. Must demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the community college.
This position is 167-day contract that serves in-person at both Scott Community College and Clinton Community College.

Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Accounting or a Master’s Degree with 12 graduate semester hours in a related field with at least 6 graduate hours in accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience is preferred
Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Salary Starting $54,198.18 - $62,046.08 /Contract Year
