Job description

We seek applicants for a part-time instructor to teach courses in the Recovery Support Specialist Program within the Health Sciences division.

General responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to:

• Prepare appropriate syllabi for courses taught
• Develop lectures, discussions, and presentations to enhance student learning
• Evaluate students’ performance using appropriate methods
• Secure and maintain instructional materials and equipment

• Associate degree
• Minimum of two years' full-time work experience in the field of recovery support, substance use, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance use) services
• Active license, registration, or credential for the profession
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Daytime and/or evening on-campus availability

• Bachelor’s degree
• Successful teaching or supervisory experience
• Expertise with instructional technology

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN CENTRAL iLLINOIS AND ABILITY TO BE PRESENT ON-CAMPUS/IN-PERSON IS REQUIRED.
