Lakes Region Community College in Laconia invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty- Nursing IV – OB Clinical Instructor to support the NURSING PROGRAM.

This part-time role teaches OB clinicals (NUR 232L) with duties including supervising students in the Maternal Newborn course and ensuring safe patient care during clinical experiences. Scheduling is Mondays 07:00–17:00 at The Family Place at Concord Hospital, Feb 1 to Apr 26, 2027.

Qualifications

  • Education: MSN, or BSN with MSN enrollment, or BSN.
  • Clinical practice: two years on a Maternal Newborn unit.
  • Licensure: NH RN license and NH Board of Nursing continuing education.

Responsibilities

  • Teach nursing students in OB clinicals and supervise clinicals.
  • Deliver clinical experiences aligned with course objectives.
  • Assess student performance and ensure patient safety.

We are seeking candidates to join our NURSING PROGRAM team as a clinical instructor, and help us shape the future of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire! We are seeking qualified, dedicated candidates who are looking for part-time teaching opportunities. Adjunct appointments are temporary and for a specified contract period only. CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.

Course: NUR 232L Nursing IV – OB Clinical Instructor

Dates: 2/1/27-4/26/27

Location: The Family Place at Concord Hospital

Clinical Schedule: Day/Time: Monday 0700-1700

Course Description: Maternal, Newborn & Reproductive Health: This content provides a, family-centered approach to the care of mothers and newborns,. In this course the student will learn about pregnancy, reproductive health, , and the promotion of health behaviors during pregnancy delivery and post partum. Clinical experiences provide the student an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts and implement safe care to patients and their families.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: One of the following:

A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)

A Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) and currently enrolled in an MSN program.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing

Clinical Practice: Two years of nursing care experience on a Maternal Newborn unit

Licensure/Certifications: Applicants must possess a current Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire. Applicants must also meet the continuing education requirements by the NH Board of Nursing to maintain continuing licensure.

Salary: The clinical/lab compensation rate is $47.95 to $59.45 an hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.

Offers of employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of the requisite background check.
