Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana is seeking adjunct faculty to deliver courses, foster student learning, and assess outcomes according to established syllabi.

You will integrate technology, prepare materials, track grades, provide interventions, and collaborate with colleagues while upholding FERPA and college policies. Evening classes may be included.

Compensation is $47.35 per contact hour and benefits are described in the college's resources.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or related field.
• Meets credential requirements: state license/certification or 3+ years teaching experience.
• Ability to use current educational technologies.
• Commitment to FERPA and student privacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned classes according to college policy and course objectives.
• Use technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develop and maintain outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials; maintain accurate student records and grades.
• Engage with students to promote active learning and a positive experience.
• Monitor and document student performance; provide interventions and referrals as needed.
• Comply with college policies and safety procedures in all learning environments.
