The University of New Mexico-Gallup is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member for the Nursing and Human Services Division to teach lower-division courses in a face-to-face and/or online format. Instructors are responsible for all aspects of their class, including delivery, assignments, grading, and reporting of student progress, under the NHS Division Chair.

Positions are temporary and part-time, with teaching opportunities across Spring, Summer, and Fall 2027, and may require evenings or

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Master’s degree plus 18 graduate hours in one of the listed fields.
• Preferred: Doctorate in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Experience teaching at a branch/community college or similar institution is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Teach lower-division courses (1000/2000 level) face-to-face and/or online.
• Deliver content, develop assignments, and assess student learning as directed by NHS Division Chair.
• Meet class times which may include evenings or weekends.
• Report grades and participate in department activities as needed.
• Positions contingent on departmental needs and enrollment.
