Job summary

The University of New Mexico Gallup Branch Nursing and Human Services Division seeks qualified temporary adjunct faculty to teach lower division courses (1000/2000 levels) in Spring, Summer, and Fall 2027. Courses include HMSV, SOWK, HCHS, FCST, and related topics, taught face-to-face and/or online.

Positions are contingent on need and require meeting listed course times, grading, and reporting requirements; compensation is per credentials and course load.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field is required or equivalent.
• Doctorate degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach lower division courses (1000/2000 level) face-to-face and/or online.
• Deliver content, develop assignments, and assess student learning as prescribed by NHS Division Chair.
• Meet class times which may include evenings or weekends and manage grading and reporting of grades.
