Job summary

The University of New Mexico-Gallup Branch is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach lower division courses (1000/2000 level) face-to-face and/or online for Spring, Summer and Fall 2027. Instructors are responsible for delivering content, creating assignments, grading, and assessing student learning as outlined by the division chair.

Positions are contingent upon need per enrollment and the course offering matrix.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
• At least three years teaching experience in an early childhood setting or at the elementary education level.

Responsibilities

• Teach lower division courses (1000/2000 Level) in FACE‑to‑FACE or online formats during Spring, Summer and Fall 2027 semesters.
• Deliver content, develop assignments, grade, report grades, and assess student learning as outlined by the division chair.
• Meet class times that may include evenings or weekends; report to the division chair.

Doctorate degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field
