Eastern Iowa Community College District is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member in Education to teach courses in education and assess learning outcomes. This in-person role covers multiple campus locations including Clinton, Scott Community College, and Muscatine Community College.

Supervisor’s Title: Dean of Professional Programs
Location: In‑person at any EICC campus locations including Scott Community College, Clinton Community College, EICC Urban Campus, and Muscatine Community College.
Salary: $700.00 per credit hour; EICC retirees $1000 per credit hour.
Job Description: Responsible for teaching courses and assessing learning outcomes in education. Assignments may include alternative delivery methods, evening courses, and multiple sites. Must demonstrate excellence in teaching and service, and a commitment to the mission and values of the community college.
Physical Demands: The teacher must see and hear on a continuous basis as well as speak frequently. Positions may vary from standing, sitting, or walking.
Minimum Qualifications: A master’s degree in the field of education or early childhood education or a master’s degree plus 12 credits from a qualifying field (6 credits must be from education or early childhood education).
Previous teaching experience.
